Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Empower Accounting Firm LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

We provide professional accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and related financial services. Our services include but are not limited to:

• QuickBooks Desktop to Online conversions
• Book review and cleanup services
• Monthly bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Tax preparation and consulting
• Financial consulting and advisory services

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for us to perform our services
• Respond promptly to our requests for information or documentation
• Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials or access provided to you
• Pay all fees according to the agreed-upon terms
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Fees and Payment

Service fees will be outlined in your engagement letter or service agreement. Payment terms are net 15 days unless otherwise specified. Late payments may be subject to interest charges and may result in suspension of services.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with professional standards and applicable laws. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law or with your express consent.

Professional Standards

Our services are provided in accordance with applicable professional standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations. We maintain professional liability insurance and adhere to ethical guidelines established by professional accounting organizations.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from our services shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Upon termination, you agree to pay for all services rendered through the termination date. We will provide you with copies of your records upon request and settlement of all outstanding fees.

Intellectual Property

All materials, methodologies, and work products created by us in the course of providing services remain our intellectual property. However, you retain ownership of all your underlying financial data and records.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation. The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which our business is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
